4. Wear braids, twists, or loose scrunchies as you air dry to create texture without having to curl.
This can work even if you don’t have a lot of natural texture. Just make sure you use some product with medium to firm hold and put it in while the hair is still a little damp (towel dry well). Then braid, twist hair, or pull up loosely into a scrunchie.
If you have lots of hair, you’ll need to do smaller sections with several braids or twists or your hair won’t dry. Once the hair is dry, you can undo the style and wear the texture it created. You can also do this overnight and undo it in the morning for an easy style.
