RADIO FEATURE: MY STYLIST WON’T DO WHAT I ASK

I’ve learned to be upfront and honest with my clients, but I’ve also had lots of practice over the years. Not all stylists are good communicators, and some are just too nice to say no.

On this radio segment, linked here, I talk about why your stylist might not be delivering the results you asked for, and how you can get what you want.

One Possible Reason: They don’t know how to do it.

Not all stylists know how to do every single thing. And some invest more time and money into education than others do.

In an ideal world, your stylist would tell you they don’t know how to do what you’re asking for, but that doesn’t always happen.

Besides that, some stylists are more comfortable with clients who keep the same look. And that’s okay.

But if you are someone who likes to make changes or stay current with trends, make sure you find a stylist who is comfortable with that. Someone who is continuing their education.

To hear some other reasons why you might not be getting what you want, listen to my segment on The Lisa Valentine Clark Show (linked above), or read my other post about this topic linked here.
