GEEK PEEK: THE MORE YOU READ

In 2017, I made a goal to read a book a month. I am proud to say that I almost doubled that goal. Yay me! If you’re curious to see what books they were, click here.

In 2018, I just wanted to continue reading. I didn’t have a specific goal in mind, but I wanted to keep the momentum going. I got in a good even dozen.

I really loved some of my choices this year. I learned where bananas foster originated, I delved into some rich Louisiana culture, I found out how to brave the wilderness, how great of a neighbor Mr. Rogers really was, the story behind an amazing award nominated movie, the interesting story of a former FBI director, how to unleash more creativity, and that I need to remember to wash my face.

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ̶ Dr. Seuss.

I really went some places this past year. If you care to travel where I did, see my full list below. There ain’t a dog in the bunch, in my humble opinion.

If you want to know what I learned or thought about a book in particular, shoot me a line. And while you’re at it, LET ME KNOW what books I should read this year. What are some of your favorites?!
